To call The Sun API functions from an Excel worksheet, import the excelmodule.bas file as a VBA module into your workbook.

Referring to Constants

Within an Excel Worksheet, constants are referred to as constant name followed by '()'.

Remarks

Excel worksheets have two differences to VBA within the Microsoft Office family of programs:

1. Constants defined within VBA are not available to worksheets therefore excelmodule.bas defines functions to return the constant values.  The functions have the same name as the constants.
2. Excel uses 'Pascal Strings' rather than 'C' language compatible strings so The Sun API  functions that return string values have been 'cloaked' inside VBA functions.

To convert cell A1 (in degrees) to radians:
