Solar Calculations
Solar Calculations are useful for predicting solar events, designing sundials and also in architectural design. The sun's motion is now predictable to high degrees of accuracy using astronomical models and the calculating power of modern PCs.Tables of solar calculations (e.g. Equation of Time, Declination) for various times are called ephemerides (ephemeris).
