Equivalence of Minutes of Time and Degrees of Rotation

A complete rotation of the earth may be equated with 24 hours of True Time.  Because of this, measures of time and measures of angle are interchangeable.  The  period of 1 day is equal to 1 rotation therefore all the following identities hold:

Time measure Angle Measure
1 Day 360 Degrees
1 Hour 15 Degrees
4 Minutes 1 Degree
1 Minute 0.25 Degree

Example

3 degrees 30 minutes of the earth's rotation is equivalent to how many minutes?
    3.5 degree * 4 minutes/degree = 14 minutes.

Calculate it!

The Sun API provides the sdD2Unit and sdUnit2D functions that will convert between Degrees and Time and back.
